Tymek has played with K’antu Ensemble since its inception. His fusion of early percussion with experimental Jazz techniques are integral to our unique sound.

Winner of the Tony Levin Drum Prize, awarded by the legendary jazz drummer himself, Tymek works with some of the finest Jazz musicians in Britain including Mike Fletcher and Olie Brice (Fletcher/Brice/Jozwiak), Sid Peacock (Surge Orchestra, Peacock/Angell Band), Steve Tromans (Axis Point) and David Austin Gray (One Many People, Little Church).

Touring across the UK and Europe recent highlights include Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the Prague Jazz Festival as part of a tour across Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has also worked with Tony Kofi, Paul Dunmall, Mark Sanders and Iain Ballamy.
