Sarah has played recorder with K’antu Ensemble since our very first rehearsal. She was awarded the Corton-Hyde Scholarship at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she won both the Early Music Prize and the Birmingham Conservatoire Recorder Prize.

She performs regularly with a variety of groups including recorder orchestras across the country. As a soloist she premiered Colin Touchin’s Wind-Wynd to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first recorder orchestra.

Sarah enjoys delivering workshops for Early Years groups and is an experienced workshop facilitator leading workshops for K’antu Ensemble and Little Notes.

In addition to performing and teaching, Sarah is administrator for the Moeck/Society of Recorder Players Solo Recorder Prize – an international competition for young, solo recorder players.
