Ben joined the group in 2013 after studying Classical Guitar with Mark Eden and Mark Ashford at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. During this time, he attended and performed in masterclasses with international artists including John Williams, Xuefei Yang, Stepan Rak, Chris Stell and Liz Pallett. 

He enjoys a variety of chamber music projects and has worked as a duo with Ben Rose and as a visiting continuo accompanist for Birmingham Conservatoire’s Recorder Department. Recent performances have included Purcell’s Chaconne, Croft’s Sonata in G, Parcham’s Sonata in G and Locke’s Suite No.4 in E minor.

He has also played electric guitar with the Thallein Ensemble and Birmingham Conservatoire Folk Ensemble with whom he tours each summer.
